Plan (day 2438)

I’ve been asked to find an answer to
Ten thousand questions of my soul
And one response keeps coming to
My mind that needs calling out
For when my moon stares at me now
I see a vision that sits atop
A marvelous hilltop looking down
For clarity has become my window
That leads this bearer homeward
And today I have in my hand
A hammer for my plan.

Lies (day 2435)

What you said is far from understanding
What you meant is far from the truth
Swallow your pride and listen intently
A condition we’re far from committing

Where you made your largest of lines
Where you made your central divide
Misunderstanding played by large colonies
An army mislead by them lies

Like a Rattling Groove (day 2434)

What calms me
What’s on my mind
What lays me
Out to the big blind
What shakes me
Like a rattling groove
Like a rattling groove
I am rumbling on

At midnight
I’m on the number nine
All laid out
Gets me just like wine
What makes me
Like a rattling groove
Like a rattling groove
I am rumbling on

Lately I heard
You been doing fine
What’s been going
All around my mind
What shakes me
Like a rattling groove
Like a rattling groove
I am rumbling on

Our Daily Step (day 2433)

Ask yourself questions of thy soul:
Those of pith
That require no translation
When repeated backwards to the mind,
Those that break you down
To your very foundation
Whereby upon rebuilding
A new found power exists.
Are you inside enough?
Building virtue like an Olympian
Sweating breaks down the truth.
Ask these questions of thy soul
Until blood of our deepest toil
Stains the back of our lively dance,
And reverberates from the weight
Of our daily step.

A Path (day 2432)

I’m not trying to let you down
No, this isn’t me leading you
This isn’t a game
Where I roll the dice,
Make the calls
And you follow
Anxiously trying to grasp
The next move
To believe you had made
The better choice.
I’m here to talk to you,
To bite first upon your supple skin
To hold your hand
As we take each other higher
Upon the path of our desires
That anxiously awaits
To share our stories,
That believes so effortlessly
We have a reason to live
In servitude for each other,
While remaining unbelievably strong
In our hearts
So we can fully grasp hold
Of our purest magnitude,
Giving freely the most valuable asset
Of my heart.

Fuzzy Blinking (day 2431)

So I sunk in here;
I rolled along and stopped slowly
When I noticed music silenced,
I heard a fuzz that wasn’t familiar
And I didn’t want to look away.
My magnetic coils had stopped,
But my vision was still rendered
With bold outlines
Helping my unsuspecting visitors
Make their way to a comfortable haven
Just North of here,
Where stop signs have been taken down
Protesting the system
With a fuzzy blinking that night knows,
Avoiding any kind of mess.
