Life of a Leaf (day 2408)

I’ve grown accustomed to leaves turning my memories from fresh to curled, a well understood paradox that changes the tide so romantically it hurts like the small spots beside the bulging veins growing inside.

My smile has grown lines, my heart has extended its beats, my hearing has begun to dance with angels upon the dead leaves blowing along the roughly trampled ground – are these our memories we have yet to experience, or have they been forgotten and left to dissolve into earth?

So I crouch down low and embrace the softly blowing wind that helps me to see my passing time I used to think I loved, I used to want to love, so here I’m hurting from spatial infrequencies that cup my involuntary spasms from underneath the table and remind me to forget to itch the pain.

Does this leaf know it crumbles within my palm so slowly softly? Did it reach for me in a pure moment of thought, expecting my return upon amber wings of a sun soaked day like an emotional Prometheus on a personal mission.

Then, like the ashes of memories crumbling in scaled hands of our Phoenix, so too shall sun rise again over the horizon of a small family farm to bring with it a wet spring full of insight and gratitude that runs the width and depth of a heart shaped leaf settling softly upon a well worn path of insight.

Listening To Meanings (day 2407)

You know
I’m standing here
Trying to listen to you
Trying to break out
Of my vision
Crooked and skewed
To a daylight
I see arching over Doi Suthep
In rose filled monograms.
A lava lamp of discussion
Concentrates my colliders
That don’t give me a chance
To deconstruct meanings.
No,
A flow has taken
Over a system of flutters,
My boredom insulting purity
That rocks back and forth
And forgetting
Once again
An understated meaning.

Endlessly Lost Wisdom (day 2406)

I’m going to become a broadscape of chattering
Little chipmunk in my hair
Rattling long speeches
The great Lizard Man would be proud of
Epic monologues
Banter and rebut
Soapboxing my way towards
An immobilization
Frozen by complex axioms
Criss-crossing a deserted wooden chair
Supported by bent half inch plywood
That understands my troubles
Like the Lizard Man does.
Who could have guessed it?
Lost in that immediate broadscape
Of endlessly lost wisdom.

Silent Back Support (day 2405)

When are you going to turn the music back on?
I’ve sat her for a while now
Wondering to myself
Should I suggest a new album
Or enjoy the silent humming
Visiting my ouroboros thought pattern.
I picture something with a nice bassline
Hopefully some creamy smooth lead
That will do a better job
Of snaking my thoughts around
Too many small stools
Lacking proper back support.

Littlest of All (day 2404)

I’m growing fond of settling my little love
Inside fountains of my deepest thought
Seems like I’m getting very pleased
And I look out to waves like I’m never there.
Can you hear me here? I’m missing you.
I’m missing you my softest waves
Since you’re riding home on a little breeze
Taking each little love from me, out of sight
I am on a heavy note to which I lightly float
And settling into what ocean breeze
Finds the fountain of my deepest thought.
