Little Bubbles (day 386)

Silent lights blink calmly at me
Through these eyes of rain
Drizzling away the dust stains
With deep and dark circles of water
Soaking inwards to the core
With little bubbles of vitalization
Gaining new experiences they boost
The little tiny hairs that reside
On the back of my neck
Waiting just for moments like these
To tell me how I feel

Flow (day 261)

Perhaps it was the presence of time
That hurt me so much, as it crawled over my skin
Wallowing in the little holes
I had no knowledge existed

Perhaps it was the pressures of yesterday
That wounded my soul, as it kept coming back again
Infiltrating my every thought
I wasn’t aware of tomorrow

Perhaps it was the sun waking up early
That shook my foundation, sprinkling my morning with light
Contracting my pupils
I didn’t realize it moved me so

Perhaps it was the water flowing effortlessly
That put me into motion, alerting me of it’s omnipresence
Allowing me to flow with it
I didn’t realize I had any choice

Dances By Firelight (day 243)

She ruffles the bubbling waters
With the smooth grace she employs
Dipping deeper until mystery engulfs
[How we’ve found our simple delight
In watching our midnight dreams]
Floating around in dancing firelight
Perhaps the gods knew of such thunder
Brought forth for jeweled goddesses
Richly adorned with priceless amour
Carelessly discarded as richly bought
Like the garments holding back love
[Into the night she shall roam]

Beautiful (day 81)

Lakes with glassy water
Sculptured clouds float lazily by
And a bee makes its rounds
Loudly buzzing to say hi

Sunshine, sometimes hiding
Soaking deep within
Smells of grass which I ignore
The itch; I am relaxed

A cool glass of lemon water
Lazily swinging on the porch
Soft music floats along
As the warm oven sings a song

Snoozing, with the pretty girl from the North
Even breath, tummy against my back
Flutters of a spinning fan
It’s summer again, let it remain again

*NOTE: again, I found another missing number in my catalog, so to make all right with the world, I changed the day number on this to fill in the voids. Sorry to cause you alarm.

A Typical Day at The Desk (day 188)

for (me = startOfDay:endOfDay)
slam keys ;
slam keyboard ;
slam head on desk ;
pace in circles madly ;
starve self ;

if (small little amount of success appears)
boil water for tea ;
have some chocolate covered almonds ;
eat some delicious banana bread ;
end

implant ass in well worn chair ;
look at emails but ignore them ;
struggle and scratch head ;
stretch arms ;

if (point of frustration is beyond control)
take small break to do some yoga ;
end

end

cout << “haha, you’ll never get here” ;

day 82 (day 82)

It started off slowly
Distracted to no end
But built up a thunder
With anticipation and mud
The phone rang but twice
The stove was on fire
The water was cold
And the fish were all hungry
The sun boiled down
Mirage on the streets
Yellow turned to red
And buzzards stalked the streets
My mind wasn’t focused
Tiny flies filled my sights
Controls and their dials
Wouldn’t agree with my suit
Complexion was spotless
Comb wasn’t needed
I rolled the logs
Bend the freight
Sold the sheep
Mended the holes
Sought the banker
Fed the anchor
Filled the tanker
Helped the old lady
Wrote down a list
Divided my time
Between comedies and romance
Settled the night
With a warm glass of wine
Blinds that shut
Doors that held out
The flies and the moths
Songs that turned slow
Volume kept moderate
Temperature slightly lowered
Eyes that began to glow
Lights began to fade
Time kept ticking
Drinks ran dry
Visitors dispersed
Alarm was set
Covers ruffled
Comfy spot found
Peace be with
A night all alone
