For the last of my soul
Lingered between barnacles,
To which, much to my dismay,
Spread blood amongst salty bubbles
Relocating my healthy initiative
– Re-digesting my acquired taste –
Into little bits of fish-bait.
My conscience flittered
Into spraying mist
Diving deep to discover
The last of my soul

Lingering (day 1031)
It came and left;
Brought no shame.
Did not add
To my name,
Nor flow with
My bulging ebb;
My jive.
I didn’t wave,
Nor shed a tear.
Forever remains
A lingering stain.
Sad Letters at Long Lasts Door (day 1023)
Did my letters long convince your soul
That all was lost amongst our hearts?
Pleasure drained upon the floor
And my eyes sore, my eyes are sore.
Balance shifted which throws me off.
What once was art is burning hearts
To leave me scarred, aghast; true horror.
And my eyes sore, my eyes are sore.
Like laughter in wicked eyes of crows,
It shelters me not, my sorrow cloak.
And fill my heart with dust and sand
And my eyes sore, my eyes are sore.
To wake again my soul at long last,
To deliver my forgiveness upon deaths door.
You were never mine, but I cared evermore.
And my eyes sore, my eyes are sore.
Signatures (day 1022)
Where dizzying spells
Slowly pulled me around
To break sound echoing
Of morning Woodpeckers
Resting my eyes
Into the darkness
Into the evening
Into my soul
That searches endlessly
As torches blaze on
In the far off distance
Awaiting our great Mother
To signal once more
That daybreak is upon us
Rupturing tranquility
Into a heavens daze
A fresh smell of lilacs
And signatures begin their drawl
Full Body of Notes (day 1017)
I am a full body of notes
A symphony and orchestra
With intonations reverberating
Through booklets of scores
And a humming coming
From the mezzanine above
Climbing to a murmur
That’s rattling backbones
Of silent observers
Watching on closely
Preparing diligently
For the maximum crescendo
Decorate My Lapel (day 1016)
If we don’t lose it all
Then how much do we lose?
Knot worn and grumpy,
En-sensed long and tall,
A scapular in my heart,
A devil to my breath.
Where wicked thoughts laughter
Knees into our death;
My agony shelters fluttered beats
From wisdom setting free.
Decorate my lapel
Like honey in my hair,
18 mistakes I’ve made;
Black beckons fate.
Letters smudging fade,
Discourse setting deep,
Concubine’s white cotton leather
And my divine.
My Red-Red Blue (day 1015)
Indecisively I shifted your heart into my hand
I lingered here a while, debating the weight
Massaging veins that beat uncontrollably
Over and over I turned the red-red blue organ
I looked for a way in – an answer or a keyhole
That would somehow give me what I didn’t know
What did I know? But did I know?
A reflection in the mirror caught my eye
Self portraiture for another day
Here I beat; lifelessly solemn, sublime
Another memory for those who began to fade
Where spots of sun traversed endlessly
Last Slice of Pie (day 1014)
This is not loneliness
Locked in an out-of-the-way cupboard
This is not misery
Straddled between once was and what will never be
This is life
One step after the other
Flooding with memories and hard times
Good days with lineups of lovers
And loss with too abrupt endings.
There are no inanimate objections,
There are no distractions or black out times,
It remains the good and the bad,
And one last slice of pie.
Matrices (day 1011)
I wasn’t shy when I whispered lightly,
I was just being careful not to shatter
Delicate webs cast about
In a beautiful matrix of magic
Fluttering (day 1009)
And with one giant glance
Look
Distraction
Intent grew into beauty
Flowering maturity
Divinity
Emancipation
And a life fluttered
For an instant
Shattering silence
Reverberating mutations
To which the ether
Acknowledged
And thanked
True beauty
