I dream of an apple that comes in many varieties
One so diverse it can only be spoken of in gutteral movements
So loud it can hardly be swallowed
And so vivacious that even clowns turn their heads and stare.
And when this apple has bent down low,
A bounty shall follow as nectar flow
Fruitful seeds spread in spring rains
Cracking open splendor of new mirth;
Of each crunchy bite
A heart of gold emerges
Pallette of sacred union
As a cider by the fire.

Beneath My Vein (day 2537)
I want to close up beside you
Remaining deeply inside my head
And have no words to explain my love
Yet the tingling sensation running through my hands
At the presence of your electricity
Collapses my senses
Opening a new world up
To the difference in my heartbeat
Your proximity supports.
You wont talk to me
For our words have spoken past their time,
Their dust rather intoxicating
As flutters of imagination
Play deeply in our loud eyes
That close softly in the darkness
Where silouettes outline the impulses
I’ve always dreamed and had
To where I’ll find my belief structure
That shall run deep beneath my vein.
A Day At the Beach (day 2536)
Digging toes
Wandering shorelines
Sunshine
Primal Experiences (day 2535)
I’ve grabbed on to the primal experience of holding you
One fist grabs and caresses the creases
That keep running down the back of my spine
Spinning reality into a sequence of verses
That forgive me for thinking these thoughts.
But in the alleys of my caresses
That pigeon hole my expression like a crab upon my toe
I’ve gone beyond what I used to call fairness
To a land of sacred union
Derived from the ancient practice of you.
Softly (day 2534)
I collapse on the floor
Unable to catch my breath
The sun down
I, under covers
Of unknown lover
Oxygen lost
Feebly, twitching my finger
Outstretched
Saliva dripping
And my eyes
Close softly for a while.
Aroma in a Window (day 2533)
My window looks out
Lost deep into thought.
Two strings I had to pull
Let go their fray
Unwind I went along the walk
River and then back
Which brought me to a stranger who
Said I had two letters of mail
Being symbolic of my thoughts,
Left me on the precipice
Until my coffee had arrived
And aroma filled the air.
Soiled (day 2532)
Hallowed in a corner
Sun beat down again
Bitten to my pulp’s end
Raw inside my soul
Bleeding through a soiled rag
Digging deeper sinks the needle
But my pump fills
A sunken cistern
Cutting through the nights full moon
Adieu (day 2531)
Call me crazy if I ever did notice
And what a shame to have said
Though entirely independent it
Not missing too many ingredients
Once again it’s turned around
So I bid you adieu again
Antiquity (day 2530)
Beyond the stairs we walked along
Beneath the wheel’s remains
The old Mill House, past Balmoral Lane
Antiquity remains.
I couldnt quite find a reason
To stop you, a look into your eyes
A wheeping heart we thought we spied
So luminous and full.
A plan developed in my mind
A gift of nature’s surprise
So I picked the lovely heart
And gave you my dear prize.
She’s Death (day 2529)
She’s got magic in her hands
And death between her lips
She sings every night a song
That makes me miss my ship
I don’t think I’ll ever send away
The blanket I had specially made
For every day as I sit here
I wish I’d found another lover
Who’d play to me sad sad songs
I could write down to remember
And out I’d go, apart from death
Reaching madly for sunlight.
