Hashmark (day 2452)

A passage of my minds disguise
I float the little waves
And carry on in nature’s ease,
I dare not look too far
For far shall be my last rebirth.
But as sweet whispers carry over
Tender ruffles of my mind
I hold a little longer to
Pencils I’ve had perfectly sharp
That count with each hashmark
Dear boldness I’ve become.

Littlest of All (day 2404)

I’m growing fond of settling my little love
Inside fountains of my deepest thought
Seems like I’m getting very pleased
And I look out to waves like I’m never there.
Can you hear me here? I’m missing you.
I’m missing you my softest waves
Since you’re riding home on a little breeze
Taking each little love from me, out of sight
I am on a heavy note to which I lightly float
And settling into what ocean breeze
Finds the fountain of my deepest thought.

The Sea (day 2316)

I want to find a seascape
So blue and lost in space
Shining in a clear horizon
My mind shall know no pain.
Here I’ll watch albatross
Searching for some food
To bring me to a far off place
Off to the blue monsoon.
And when my heart
Sings to a wave
I’ll let it flow away
For in the sea
Sails off so free
My blue blue thoughts of you.

Golden Sun (day 2234)

Here I am upon the sea
Where two giants sit and wait
Singing songs to each their wave
In a shimmer upon the breeze
For with each breath they take
Comes a march of many soldiers
Attempting to take away their pleasure
Their big golden orb, the sun
But with each exhale their breath
Sent the suitors off again
Scampering along in madness
To find their legs upon the ground
So the giants sit still pondering
Each cloud that comes along
Wondering if it shall be
Married to the golden sun.

Ancient Seabird (day 2179)

When wounds of Ancient Seabird
Flush over each cresting wave
A reverie ensues
Collected with raindrops
From ocean condensation.
Mother cries, laments,
Spreads her tears
Into spraying breeze
That wafts over heralded rocks
Sentinels standing guard
Waiting for the bleeding
To dampen each succulent
Feeding fears forgotten
And the breath
Of Ancient Seabird.

Three Marks (day 1954)

She rode the waves of mercy
Climbing with every swell
A Venus in every mystery
Searching the world round

She cried with every bit of
Excitement in the air
Like fireworks in her eyes
A flair inside her heart

She amplified the colours
That rose so bright at daybreak
In every exhale of her breath
More mountains rose to shine

She left three marks to show the way
In a maze of lost lagoons
For every star that awoke at night
Was here for her to stay

Hash Marks (day 1908)

In a passage of my minds disguise
I float little waves
And carry on in nature’s ease,
I don’t dare look too far.
But as sweet whispers carry over
Tender ruffles of my mind
I hold a little longer to
Pencils I’ve had perfectly sharp
That count with each hash mark
Dear boldness I’ve become.

Seed (day 1862)

Could you hide away with turtles
And spend the day afloat
Sinking with the rising tide
Surfing with the wave.
Could you keep a lonely life
Deep amidst the sea
With octopi and jellyfish
Always there harassing thee.
And if the sailor dragging lines
Came along your closed up shell
Could you navigate away
From their expanding net?
And surely swimming free
You’d represent jubilee,
Swimming amidst the sea
Navigating by your seed.

Ode to the River (day 1762)

From your wild edges I stand
Your mysterious torrent
Carries my heart back and forth
Up and down
Catching little glimpses of what
Dares to ride your furious wave
And my imagination takes me wildly
Over and around the sharp rocks
I know you pass by
For I, standing here,
In awe upon the jagged edges
Of my wildest imaginations
By your side
Perched upon the sharp ledge
With a vantage of your toil.
