Forever (day 2944)

You’d better not steal the show
Before the guests leave the room
Lost and confused
Like red in the eye
Of Three happy youngsters
Who married the feeling
That covered their sadness
Locked in two rusty fences
Six days till November
And their faces all fallen
Cold in their bones singing
What mud cannot speak
With gospel now favoured
With two plates of pasta
And a belly that rumbles
Remaining the sideshow
Forever untitled.

Exit Please (day 1530)

Take me – one two three,
No, it ain’t at all free,
Baby this flow’s for a price,
This is how it rides.

Let yourself into the show?
Don’t believe your in the band.
This wont become a night.
Baby, this ain’t for free,
You got to pay the price.

Take a pass and walk the line,
Make your due and do in time,
Don’t let the moment pass on by,
Exit’s off to the left.

Sweet Aroma (day 1319)

Sweet romantic raindrops held out their hands
For my memories and heart splashes.
But I’ve already paid for the month,
I brought my warm sweater;
I’ve come for the show.

Two ladies danced into the night,
Slow waltzes around and around
As I sketched out the scene with dirty charcoal.
Hands in the air and sing out the song,
Pale spotlight in a smokey saloon.

Up Against the Wall (day 1093)

I’m alone here,
Not waiting for anyone.
This is the show space;
This is my call.
So when I lean up against the wall
Take a double notice man,
This isn’t curtain call
This is a casual evening stroll…
Saddled and suited
Eyein up the ninety suitors,
Oh everybody comes a calling
When I’m up against the wall.
