Moon And By Sun

I am drained of life
Though calming gray Moon
Shines full into my vision.

My mornings wake
With such vast opportunity
Yet I slouch my way
Into an odyssey;
Blurring noises
From Nature’s highway
Busy outside my open window.

This tea alerts me
It brings my senses
Towards the front of my tongue
So that I can find my voice
Rescued from the deep depths
Of a tortuous night.

And here, upon my tongue
A caress felt within my memory
Time spent in my youth
Unabided,
For Spring spirit in Summer Sun
Reaches no Plymouth too soon,
And this warm milk and honey
Resting on my lips
Shall be enveloped by
Moon and by Sun.

Buzzing Noises (day 2894)

Curious shocks arose from the devilish landlocks
Arrogance broke me
A whirling, buzzing noise
Whispered to my inner brain
As if the cockroaches
Were ticking time bombs
Ignoring every asset that took steam
From the bedroom window
That never twisted,
Though the two lovers did try
And the moon did shine
And the gray faintness
Filled memories
Like a ball spinning on the floor
Ever moving close to a carpeted fullstop
Like a Presidential candidate race
On morphene and glue
Riding horses and cadillacs
Through a busy street
Crowded with patriots
Waving their flags
Flogging each other
In a time warping
Self fulfilling
Ecstasy.
Thus, no peace was found
Inner sanction
Guidance and fishing nets.

Ode to A Young Dog (day 2679)

Your breath gets me
A startling reminder
That even though
Your dear to me
Your still a scoundrel
For games and fun.
Your ever presence
Ever eager eyes
Inquiring of me
For hidden treats
Of hidden adventures
Of pats and scratches,
For your wagging tail
And the little noises
I’ve known from you
Ever heard from you
Makes me warm dearly
To the fun your heart
Touches my heart
Where I wish could stay
Beside me, all days.

Tenderly (day 2621)

Where has this beat departed to
– Crunching and releasing
In spite variable dependencies
Hovering dangerously close to the rubbish bin.
Can one lose this beat
So memorised by thy heart,
Yet so fragile by thy touch?
Step soundly, leave not noise
To disrupt this chemical
Leave a smile so tenderly placed
Wings of a falling leaf
Pause to embrace.

Goodnight (day 2588)

Can you cry to me goodnight
Tears so full of joy
A willow waves at evening crickets
My heart so free, ablaze.

When I hear the sorcerer,
Feel unprescedented pull,
When I feel a memory
Fade to unwanted noise.

Not lost, thought my feet grapple
At each root they meet
Tenderly I step my way
Back to say goodnight.

Our Hearts (day 1738)

In a blink of an eye
It didn’t fade off and die,
It took years of tapering away.

Our hearts slowly bulging
Lost subtlety in lies,
Secrecy, and imagined constructs.

And our eyes still glow
Deep stare as our high,
None else becometh what matters.

Yet slowly our deceiving
Left us sleepless at nigh’,
Wreckless pitter-patter noise.

And all for believing
Pure random deceiving
To be lost in forever, goodbye.
