The old oak seems to enjoy the light breeze
As I do, flapping in the wind
Waving it’s leaves to and fro, light and dark
No ending, no until
Battling the waves in its eternal onslaught
And every single day
Each one in the cold or warm
Night and day
There is always a smile spread
Thickly across the countenance
Of the old oak

Desire (day 260)
Blown in with the leaves of time
Strewn out like paper discarded
Elapsed like the growing grass
But still there escapes no figurative talk
No lively-hood of lust that escapes the drivel
Onward and upward in a spiral inward
Left for the ransacking
Two lone bowls of fruit
Monotonous in content
But alive with desire in substance
And then the snow begins to fall
Pulling with it a breath of relief
Inward it seeks for that calming nerve
Leaves (day 195)
Lost in an adolescent desire
A makeshift, slightly dull dream
Fitted with romance and pretty culture
Little black, very little black
Sun flares blur my vision
Flowers clutter my hair
And only sweet songs fill
The everlasting notes through the air
It’s summer
I’m here at last
I’m here, writing love notes
To all of the boys
Giggling under covers as I re-read
The wrinkled back pages of my life
Amicably plotting the glorious
Future that has yet to shade
Boney knees and hold this please
Skipping circuits and hearts everywhere
Hearts on jeans, hearts on sweaters
Hearts on hands, hearts on books
Hearts on sleeves
Come close to these
I have yet to learn the power
To my unconscious flirt
Dreaming of the boys
Dreaming of me
Dreaming of the blue oceans
Screaming at me
I know in the future
I’ll remember it all
For all of it I’ve collected
In between these here leaves
The Gift (day 135)
Squabbling Quibian!
What have you found there?
Is it a new form of currency?
A rare gem; a gift from the Emperor?
How you cradle it like a lover
Lost deep at sea
There is something nostalgic
In your eyes I see
A pebble, dear Quibian?
A stray rock here you hold?
Found amongst the leaves
On your long walk home?
Little Black Marks (day 134)
A torn emotion
Straight from the heart
Leaves little black marks
Where it once had its start
One more time
It has been there and gone
One more lover
Has played their last pawn
To many useless
Promises come and go
Left for an encounter
For the wind to let blow
But alas!
I shall not give in
This blundering baboon
Forever within
Burn the Evidence (day 15)
Loosely I gloss over dusty pages laid to waste in the molding sun
Counteract, balance, organize, destroy
Cherishing all the curves that come with the letters
Anarchy among the lines portraying organization in ruins
Shred my evidence that leaves its beauty mark
Among the leafs of forgotten memoirs
Along the memories of forgotten penmen
