This speaks to my soul.
It wrenches me away from my
Remedial tasks,
Though they still linger
As if towed by my line.
But for me,
It is not the end
I wish to be speaking of,
But rather
The it is the Great Guest
That enters into my generosity
Who challenges my inner momentum
And rests knowing
They have sat here
Smiling at me.

Blur (day 2747)
Don’t thank me anymore
I didn’t write
And all guest appearances
Have been and gone
A lost ark
A broken pencil
A spent dollar
On an unfulfilling crimson
Shaded by the blur
I drove away
Shouting Galaxies (day 2612)
Running through a Galaxy
I thought I had left behind
I passed into a memory;
Two trees I had once climbed
With two turtles that each had a name
Who moved at a very slow pace
Two raspberry bushes that bloomed succulent
Sweet touch upon my tongue
Two small sheds that worked singular
One for gardening one for tools
Two stairs that led to a deck
Painted of a calm and subtle brown
Where two doors swung open
Greeting each and every guest
With two arms and a little more
Clambering all about the floor.
Here it was where I heard
A sound ahead of me
And to my dismay I had been away
Dreaming of a place I no longer stayed
Instead I sat, mid transition
From one Galaxy to another
And all about were angry faces
That each began to shout.
Ashram Day 27 (day 1430)
Here I call out your name
Into our empty guest bedroom;
We’ll never be the same
In the ol’plantation tree.
Listen to these windows
Into each others arms,
Passing through blue sunsets
Mistaken for innocent faith;
Unsuspecting memories
And I’ve drawn out your name.
Johnny Johnny Say-So (day 673)
Tulip too long
I’ve grown a song
For you, it’s done
And it is long
The day does shine
As we break rhyme
Jesters of mine
We pass the time
Watch as I roll
A simple stroll
One modest toll
Where I dare loll
Aha! You see!
We can not flee
You there and me
So full of glee
No road shall end
No man shall bend
We sew and mend
Don’t dare offend
You see, my guest
With all the rest
Courtly the best
You say I jest?
Not I, I say
On this fine day
I walk and play
It is my way
We walk and sing
And cowbells ring!
Up up we swing
Then down laughing!
