For if I got to sail’s end
Upon the glee of life
Should shake the dust
From each thy sword
To battle, ho! Thy fun!
Not of angry blood spilled
In trod battlefield,
Nor in a race of men,
But in thy quest of spiriting
Each bone amidst my quest.
Shake me, again!
For should I not arise
To meet each day with grit,
I should sooner be trampled afoot
Each horse drawing mighty Hades
Crumpled into an unfit mess
Deserveth of lack spent.
So gracefully, then,
I grab thy sword
Clean ‘er pommel to point
Place her not to rest at bay
Amidst cocooning leather bound,
Place her strong within thy grasp
Of ambition and desire for life!

Time (re)Learning (day 3141)
Yesterday was a day to be soft
Be broken and be heard
Be calm and be reborn into consciousness.
Today is a day to be angry
Expose injustices, bloody untruths
And spit venom in the face of fear.
Tomorrow will be time to rebuild
Each and every institution that has fallen
For what can newly nurture.
Hurricane (day 3019)
He blew us sideways
From here to the end
With wisps of raindrops
Pounding in
And all of which
Kissed dearly to the skin
So that thy eyes
Squinting and slim
Could barely make out
Five feet beyond
Jacket torn and stretched
Fighting as if angry devils
Were trying to take you in
And hardly keeping
This fighting body
From a thorough soaking
Deeply felt
But yet the landscape
Blew on sideways
Shrubs and goldenrod
Bending down
Trees began to wobble effortlessly
As if they were dancing
For the Devil grinning.
He continued to blow on
In to the night
What once we saw
Now could only feel
A constant humming
Beat against the house
That shook and trembled
As if to say
How oddly disturbing
This howling dance
Sent from Gods
Necromance.
Then, all at once
The gale drew back
Passed the land
Left the trees
Fell away from
Each eye squinting
So that dawn broke
Calm and tranquil
All remembering
What in anger
He had spoke.
Bed of Roses (day 2904)
I woke into a bed of roses
Alone and bleeding out my heart
Dark glass shattered all around
How would I ever learn?
Slipping over a raincloud
Pouring into my open mouth
Yearning for a graceful death pose
Arched spine my sorrow lover
A road forgotten now
Spitting out a bitter taste
Into howling winds of angry hands
That took away my breath.
Foggy and Departed (day 2806)
For sense I needn’t rely
I’ve gone a long while without
They live within my holy vision
Foggy and departed
So far away, I’ve gone with courage.
A walk I took left me angrily
Fuming at the mouth;
What evidence did I have
To return to depth?
I needn’t tarry here too long
I’ve lost my dearest friend.
Windows took me to
A spot upon great vision’s edge
Dancing with friend’s I’ve lost
– How dare I come back here?
Though most dust had settled down
A whirlwind to my mind
Caught me plotting my demise
Caution off into wind.
Tumbled (day 2660)
Long is the day
That approaches with sway
Blown by madness
Of ten angry horses
Tumbled autumn leaves
Gone, nevermore.
Angry Thoughts Mantra (day 2477)
Let them pass over me and through me
Let them ooze away
Let the stars pick at them
And stardust figment them
Let my heart be calm
And thoughts pleasant
Laid upon a rock to dry
Happy and untroubled
Benevolent Symbol (day 1887)
In the passages of my time
I am the benevolent symbol
Laid into seams that easily stretch
From nether regions of
An angry personage
To crispy green crunches
Of fresh Sunrise apples;
Delicate fingertips as I dance merrily
With sunbeams casting minute details
Into consciousness’ unrelenting path.
And if gods were ever here
It was an idle truth,
A crass gesture,
I’ve seen their footprints muddling midday shores
High tide, low tide
Stomping children’s little castles.
Come and get my open arms
My roots are in your hair
My hands are on your hips
My high is for your low
And I am feeling tongue tied.
Crow’s Eyes (day 1718)
I remember when a crow flew
Into my eyes of fear
Leaving behind a little ghost
Who spoke words I did not want to hear.
But as I sat and steeped my tea
I could not gain my truth,
So little by little
An angry cry
Was heard above the rumble.
A cry that was not for pure peace,
A cry not from a babe,
My cry was loud and deliberate
My beak’d been getting black.
For when the grace of tempest’s blast
Ceased all ’round my hearth,
I whipped into such fury as
A devil burning brightly at my feet
Two eyes locked on mine, forevermore.
