A Professor Who Cares (day 189)

Thank you kind sir
You’ve provided some light
To the otherwise gloom
Of this cavernous place

I respect how you’ve helped
With my bad situation gone worse
I appreciate how you’ve brought me
From despair to a glimmer of hope

So drink to the good times
My dear chap, my good friend
I appreciate your good words
Your leniency and understanding

Go! Go (day 145)

Blow your hole
Feed your soul
Collapse your lungs
Inhale your tongues
Allow your young
To reach their fun
Allow your game
To be pretend
Embrace the lessons
Fight the digression
Go! Go with all passion
Love the chaos
And for me, baby
Lets live to remember

Lost is For Good (day 137)

Lost lovers and lost sinners
Remind me of death
Accept it and rage it
Decide to eat it alive

It’ll set you not forward
If you take it to heart
It’ll teach you to crawl
If understand it you try

Wail out a beat given lonely
Narrate a poem long and comely
Never sit down in style
With past; long, gone, and well

Sometimes (day 105)

Occasionally
I fall into a bliss
Or maybe not quite serene
But focused at any rate
A time filled with desire
Loss for right and wrong
Just an image
That fills my countenance
Nothing but direction
Goals
An end is always inevitable
But like all emotions
Like all movements
Who knows when it too shall end

Omens (day 103)

Omens come
Omens go
Take them once
Take them all
Never give up
Never throw in
Never forget
Never they stop
There is no picking
There is no choosing
Eyes open
Eyes closed
One mind
One soul
One search
One goal

Time (day 64)

Sun, ever alluding
Peeks its shining head out
From behind the yonder clouds
While the wind
High above in rigor glory
Blows it’s destruction

Shade brings sun brings shade
Brings leaves
Time brings dusk
Time brings dawn
Loosen your grip
Just let it slip

A Perfect Sin (day 59)

Today has been a day of love
A day of passing and of ever lasting
Today has been a day to record
All I’ve thought of, all that’s passed

I’ve been to the moon,
And I’ve sailed right back
I’ve followed a star
As it raced through the sky

Today I lost a little letter
That read like vanilla upon smooth silk
It fell between the whispered promises
That left a stain on glittered premises

I’ve held onto sympathetic angels
But like grasping at air
I’ve witnessed them crashing
As I’ve called out their names

Today I threaded with the devil’s needle
It felt like I sinned
Today I couldn’t help smiling
I’ve lived a little, and boy it sure feels good.
