Crimson Blood (day 2807)

Forever in Desert’s sun
She waited by Cactus
Closing slowly her soft hands
Needle in her thumb
Dragon surfaced in her throat
One she’d never known
She whispered to him by his name
Soon he was her pawn
All at once they struck a deal
One forever indebted
For in her hand she now held strong
Two droplets of crimson blood

Your Song (day 2804)

Your heart beat upon mine, so,
That left me listening;
A window opened for my depth.
Here, I tarried at this sweetest scent
Making you the only known
As I witnessed an orchid open into bloom
I held my hand so strong
Against the sweetness on my tongue
And rhythm abreast my chest.

Strong Heart (day 2695)

There is nothing you cannot do, Strong Heart
Your dancing is in me
I can feel you with my own eyes
There is nothing you cannot do.

When the river is running wild, Strong Heart
Your hero is championing
Flying the flame of desire
When the river is running wild.

Turn for the sky is gold, Strong Heart
Your ancestor speaks to you
Believe in the soul wisdom
Turn for the sky is gold.

Wild horses still run free here, Strong Heart
Here it is where their home is
Their hooves pounding can be heard in our dance
Wild horses still run free here.

Heavy Tread (day 2609)

My mountain comes into my cove
Of which I heavily tread
For no one knows that which I bare
No one knows my comst soul
Yet even in the deepest hour
My glow is never failed
My strongest tie can never loose
Muscles taught against the threat.

Long shall each heavy stride
Call thy legs at thou lookout
This brow upon my strengthened neck
Carries an outlook built on sweat
And living within this absolute
Blisters each creak I’ve ever known
That rests when day’s toil’s been had
When Sun bids the sky adieu.

Strong Roots (day 2581)

I’ve never known what lonely is
Every day that I’ve known you
I’ve forgotten about alibies
For you’re never out of mind
And like a leaf I’ve grown in to
As I’ve so long met you
Blossoming about so free
With hopes that by continuing
Roots shall mingle stronger, still,
With you so vibrantly.

Ode to Cactii (day 2440)

Your prickly spine
Prickles my spine
In a rush against the senses
How can nature be so seamless
So soothing in times of need
Yet out of her
Births aggressive opposition
Protection in sharply fine armory
One that stops each passerby
In awe and reverie
Looking on to comprehend
How such can exist amidst the sun
Amidst a sea of warm winds
And lizards who lazily
Pass by taking caution
Yet dare not touch nor approach too close
Respecting the sentinel
Standing tall, standing strong
And playing its role
In nature, steady,
Sandy roots and resevoir.

A Path (day 2432)

I’m not trying to let you down
No, this isn’t me leading you
This isn’t a game
Where I roll the dice,
Make the calls
And you follow
Anxiously trying to grasp
The next move
To believe you had made
The better choice.
I’m here to talk to you,
To bite first upon your supple skin
To hold your hand
As we take each other higher
Upon the path of our desires
That anxiously awaits
To share our stories,
That believes so effortlessly
We have a reason to live
In servitude for each other,
While remaining unbelievably strong
In our hearts
So we can fully grasp hold
Of our purest magnitude,
Giving freely the most valuable asset
Of my heart.

Ode to a Pine (day 2281)

Needles so long and fragrant that
You set into my dreams
And close around my open spaces
With essence of the forest.
I notice that your feet are so
Sandy, enjoying the soil
I’d like to join you, kick back, relax
Grow so strong and freely here.
I shan’t be quick to cut you down
I shall resist unto the end
So that your life outlives my own
Respecting one another’s deep wisdom.

Guiding Star (day 2236)

Carry my soreness to the stars.

Once a dream where I believed
Where I looked North to find my light
The loon gave me my deepest hope
And I fell asleep alone.

Wind came and woke my dream
A start but I held strong
To a lonely birch tree waving slowly
As sun rose my heart again.

By midday with tea so cool
A flock of geese led my gaze
I floated on the shore’s tranquil
A willow shading as I heard your name.

To the North I looked for my guiding star.
