Soil-Meet-Water (day 1311)

Can you make this wind so calm?
Eyes become lost amidst time,
Fall whithers deep beneath frozen soil
In an exhale from sweet Gaia youth.
Hands beneath a wool fleeced warmth
Trace aged and soggy wooden trusses
To ground all paths sturdy,
Placing soil-meet-water underneath
Obstructions aging gracefully,
With moss
Silhouetting a vista worn on the sleeve
At fogs deepest moment, neigh.

Ancient Eyes (day 1257)

I rolled my ancient eyes
Into unwanted memories,
Unwanted flickers of
Brutal awakenings
That shook the very soil
I’ve stepped so lightly upon.
Here I invited a ghost
To stand beside me,
To shoot the breeze
Like patio beers at
Mid-summer dusk.
Consciously I rolled forward.
I opened to daylight
Lapping at the heels of
My unwanted recollections
Where I groped my way home
With tender affection
And battle wounds
Bourn amongst
Leftover scrapings
Upon my wall.

Let Us Begin (day 241)

Lament of a lover
Gets lost in the sea
As the islands grow thinner
And the skies to infinity

Grow long, distant lands
Mercy the horizon without grace
Say farewell to familiar clouds
Bid adieu firm soil

My feet no longer tempt
The lonely seas of your pasture
My flowers no longer grow
From the brown brown soil of your fathers land
