In Thought (day 2880)

My mind has become jagged
A Cliff with one soaring Eagle
Circling around and around
Just beyond eyesight.

Little plants grow here
Barely hanging onto life
Grasping what little Soil
Has fallen between the Rocks.

Barely does a Thought stay
For it’s brother begs attention
Ruthlessly asking for my step
Dare I not pass his way.

So here I step gingerly
Trepid and disoriented
Glancing above me, evermore
Dare I lose a thought.

Joy of Life (day 2827)

What windows open up my mind
To whom I speak so soft?
What vision is, I cannot say..
For laughter washes all
Into a valley of design,
Making each symbol remain the same.
Seeds of which photosynthesize,
Cracks amidst the soil,
Teeth so eagerly chattering,
Rain so vibrantly,
Gaia, she knows all secret things
Our eyes are not our only sense
Oh Joy! Oh Life!
Cometh my way.

Cold Stream (day 2792)

When the wind blew at my door
There I was standing tall
I saw the drifts of snow gather
I heard the poplars clack together
And deep within my cooling heart
I heard a groan so vivid
It symbolized the burden laid
At the foot of my days toil
It symbolized ice cold water
Gathered at the stream
And every step upon
Frozen soil with a cold shovel
It symbolized the sweat that broke
Each sinew in my back
To which I closed my eyes tightly
Forehead resting on the window
Wind blowing at my door

Slopes (day 2782)

Slippery slopes
Drag my heart
To a place I cannot return
A valley so full
Vibrantly
Shooting up with growth
Where wild beasts roar
Soft grasses blow
Precious flowers
Emerge from every inch of soil
And naked she stands
Before minds eye
Heavenly traced
And here I stay.

Ode to Coming Spring (day 2759)

Oh deepest temptation
How you flirt with my soil
A thought of thaw, a hint of melt,
A sense of return to summers belt
But then a day so far away
Seems the Spring that once did hint
Now a freeze, frosty fence
Covering the land, so white.
Yet in my eager gait
I sense all soon to blossom
And maybe, too, I spy
A bird been gone a while.

Soul Love (day 2707)

Let me love you like I can
Hand full on at a time
To let me find you in the sky
Driving for between your thighs

Fast is the main emotion
That hits me straight on in the heart
Where you often spend your days
Driving through my fertile soil

Let me love you like I can
For every day I lay awake
Fevering with a full desire
To hold a nightlight to your fire

With the arrow of my vision
Feel these flung straight on to you
I have but one main ambition
Baby I’m on to this fruition

Gardening (day 2625)

Gardening is for lovers
It is not for somebody who hates the world,
Cant stand to wait
Intermingling with chaos
In a fabric of life.
Gardening is for those who see the world,
Smell the sun,
Walk around with silent footsteps
To not scare the birds
Who sing so beautifully
For worms beneath the earth.
Gardening is for those who feel the wind,
A sweet summer lustre
Mixed with tobacco falsettos
Amongst little poplars.
Gardening is for the lovers
Who sit down side by side
And smile amidst sunflowers and cabbage
Like the silty loam soil
Made them to be.

Those Trees (day 2524)

What trees came out of here?
What harm has been done before
How could we have ever saved you
Ten thousand miles away?
Chainsaws and axes thrown
Into your hearts of gold
Good soil twisted off again
Broken away and shipped beyond
Pretending another way.

Darkness returns in your future’s growth
Overstory large and bark
Grabbing at a curious mind
Peaks and valleys roughening
Softening along the floor
Moss returns again.

Bows (day 2484)

I’ve come along for the magic of night
Singing to my reflection ahead
Eyes wide open I’m inside myself
Forgetting all the bows I tied
While waiting by your side
A test I left unwritten, un-scribed
For distractions had taken the best of me
Towards an un-planted tree
Soil so deep I lost my shovel
And turned my soil to better ground
To grow the bio I dream of
Where magic of night shall leave behind
A day to open me up wide
