Revolutionary Blood

My revolution has taken its toll
On jagged edges of my soul;
I’ve dawned gloves,
Sawn carefully,
Yet each gold line
I’ve carefully drawn out
– Tracing a route
For my skilled cut –
Has left an array
Of scraps and debris
That keeps slicing
Each fiber I live by,
So that each step I take
A trail of blood
Follows me
Ending at this precipice
My revolution has brought me to.

For Certain (day 2867)

I dream of your smell
Though it has been too long
To know for certain I still know
And your long hair
As it feels in my hand
Knowing you’re submitted
Caressing and enjoying;
Your murmur soothing us both.
I can feel a part of me
Waiting inside of you
Not knowing fully
As I know myself fully
Though I enjoy the route
We take to get there,
Your eyes looking back at me
Will know my heart’s beat
As it beats now for you.

Forth (day 223)

As with all roads away
A route returns home
A life never stumbles
Without lessons infused
With meters along the road
Screaming stop signs and
Merge patterns
Green lights and red!

Go forth with the fury of horses
Lights on, overdrive engaged
Heed not the warning signs of truck trailers
Long turns and shiny rails
Keep your eyes on the lines
Keep your path towards the prize
Carry me my young sailor
Into the wind reaching this day
