I cannot shake the essence of unlimited
Grand gestures that flow
From the moments I find twilight
Reaching around my corners
To awaken what beast
I sing my songs with.
My bones rattle,
My mind expands,
My very being seems to float
Like vibrating melodies
From deep bowels of a singing bowl.
It is destruction that has collapsed
Sure it should seem rather redundant
But it was not as it should be
For there were no golden melodies
No silent tigers awaiting at the margin
Long arching stems of tropical plants
Waving ever so slightly in afternoon rain
Slipping noiselessly down the bank
Of misunderstood’s miss-planned and misspent
Margins gone away.
Find me if you can
I wont be singing at the gates
Found a path
That led me down a mountain road.
Came upon two pillars
I took to calling affectionately
Mister One and Mister Two.
Hello, how are you,
It’s good to find you here
I have come from far
And I’ve got a bit to go
Share a tea, I’ve got enough for three.
And a bird came
Whistling to me
That took me off
To find a beautiful melody
Since that was all
I had ever hoped
Would find me here.
