Of Delicacy (day 1820)

To wish away cruelness
Tap against night’s rain
Linger in a soft gaze
Float about a name.

A paw against green grass
Sound amidst deep silence
Precious moments first awake
Gospel of harmony.

Hand upon arching back
Soul touch tingling neck
Gaze upon a sweet moon
Mist upon dark sea.

Night of Day (day 1788)

I want to be a casual memory
I want to be secret and unheard
Laid deep beneath the chestnut tree
Put to rest with one last kiss.

I want to flutter the winds in leaves
Shaking loose what’s left unhinged
I want to be a lingering note
Reverberating about your echo’s glow.

I want to hurry storm away
Leaving daylight to spend my way
Into a blissful harmony,
Deep into the night of day.

Ode to Wild Flowers (day 1763)

As the sun kisses my face
Your blossoms shall kiss my nose –
Fill my eyes with butterflies
And leave me singing songs.
And when I walk up to my shins
Amongst your thriving throng,
My toes shall catch your hearty stems
My fingertips you’ll reach to kiss,
And leave me lost in harmony
Like I’ve once felt before
On a sunny day out at sea
Where my mind remains happy, forevermore.

Ode to the Wind (day 1756)

Into my ears did whistle harmony
Not of my mind or in my thoughts
But wind, easy wind to fill me up
With dear, sweet oxygen.
And to my friend I inhaled in
The deepest breaths I could bring
To fill my lungs so full, I smiled.
For my liberty was brought to me
So free my mind, so free my body,
So free my soul to float on to
A cloud, where I’m with you.

Inner Relief (day 1526)

The inner relief of my contemplative mind
Shakes like an ever revolving ceremony;
A lighthouse glimmering at dusk.
Inwardly I know.
Inwardly I wish for a safe standard
That holds my hand and lifts equal parts
Harmony, equal parts awareness
To a region just above my Cronus,
Just above this inner guide
Traveling a while next to me.

Backward Bend (day 1489)

I want you like a snake curls,
As a peacock never ends.
I’ve made a million signs to the world
I’m waiting for just one.
Truth beyond this harmony
In a street of mystery;
Forgot an innocence only
To play abandon in the long grass;
A misconception I have waited for,
No devil I ignored.
Head to tail in a loop,
Head to tail backward bend.
