Lilac Bushes and Green Pastures (day 706)

Your pleasure dances daintily around my mind
Lilac bushes and green pastures
With a pond to walk around
A silk tipped hat, a pretty bow tied
About your supple pink cheeks and curly locks of hair
That is where we dined by the pond
Amongst willows and butterflies
Laughing as we nibbled on butter cookies
Tea kept warm by the knit cozy pot
While lounging guests strolled to and fro
Our minds weren’t on them
As we played our cards in the game of courtship
Flashing wild jacks and jokers that shined
But it grew upon a time for us to resign
Bidding each other a farewell, adieu

To Make This Ending Alright (day 540)

There is no age that is old enough
There are no journeys long enough
No steps that take you high enough
No song that lasts long enough
To make this ending alright

Your infinite smile that greeted guests
Lingers long after the visit rests
Lawnmower rides with a mile wide smile
Together, no memory strong enough
To make this ending alright

The time we’ve shared
Has taken me into a land
Far beyond dreams and into
The hands of strength and belief
To make this ending alright

So now is not the time to fret
Time to weep into our sorrow
It’s time to praise the lasting life
That fills our remaining breath
To make this ending alright

~this poem is to give strength to all of you out there, healthy or sick, to fight and enjoy every last breath you have~

Rolling (day 118)

It happened together of awe-struck stride
While wheeling together the untied bride
Alone, at last, the house guests blast
And sing in unison, my brave and married son
Call birds, call deer, call your mother near!
Leave doors open for angels to swing
Lovely breezes on untouched wings

And for god sakes man!
Blame not him, it’s simply the plan!
The call for truth was left before
The aim for gain forever more
A bride in stride, a game in play
A whore alone with stained tears
An arm, a leg, a fire brigade
The wheel begins it’s long kept song
