What Is Blessing?

What is blessing?
What is blossom?
What does hard work
Have to do
With my faith and trust?
How often does govern
Intervene with my magic,
Causing my inner blessing
To be lost in a sea of greed.

For my beacon
And my bacon
Do not get seared
Upon the same boiler.
I am a beacon
Like the sun;
Guiding by virtue,
Blazing in darkness,
Finding strength
Through built upon resistance,
Friction in consciousness,
And letting go
Until I no longer need to grasp.

Sitting here I hear policemen
Waving flags and shaming.
Sitting here I hear lawyers
Convincing me of wrongdoings.
Sitting here I hear government
Enacting laws of oppression.
Sitting here I hear,
And I see busy-ness
Building friction
To work itself into
Hellfire inferno.

From this darkness
Ignites foreverago,
A lost simplicity
Sitting in calm;
A bird singing,
A simple inclination,
Base necessities.
There is luxury in nothingness.
There is excess in freedom flow.
There is grand
In what we havent nurtured:
In an ancient Douglas fir,
In ripples of a frozen river,
In breath of wind,
In depth of a blossoming tulip.
There exists here
The base and carnal glow
Lifting thy vibrational flow.

What is blessing?
Did it come to you wrapped?
Did it accompany you from third to fourth gear?
Did it fly with you in a jet aeroplane?
Was it bought at Louis Vuitton?
Was it rolled up and smoked?
Was it intervened in a safety net,
An involuntary rule?
An orgasm of confusion?
What is blessing?

Choose (day 3212)

In the Gods
We can hold our faith
We can rewrite our paths
And align our virtues
Set our guiding stars
To make our vision
Ever-strong.
Instead of the false idols
Immortal souls
We idolize today,
The led astray
And imperfect visions
That accept faults
Within
Without effort to change
Nor grandiose to endure.
We can choose better
Than brands paying
For looks and ambassadors,
We can choose better
Than lying, cheating,
Thieving and misleading.
We can choose Honour
Understand Gravitas,
Lead with bravery,
And succumb
Only to mortality.

A Freedom (day 2797)

I don’t know what piece of you wants to be free
I’ve searched a while now
A long walk through the forest
And only tracks of wild animals show.
Your mind has spoken
But your heart stays back still
Relentless and wandering
You have yet to let go.
I can open screen doors
To hear the sweet lion roar,
I can warp time inside flannel
And forget about mountains
I’ve left there, behind,
But of your freedom
-Your moment of truth,
Where doth escape render;
Ultimate faith
Shall hold the reins
For this wild beast.

Open Ended Questions (day 2593)

These days I find myself revolving around an open ended question.
I dont find myself worried or left on a cliffhanger,
No, these notes dont sound good on the breath of discovery,
My walnuts are chesnut brown
And my drawers are filling up with notes
That have inches and arrows scribbled
Upon their worn and wearing shoulders.
You see, the game is but a dice I’ve been carving.
No choice wrong just doing and not doing.
A collaboration of antivibration
Has taken its seat next to the campfire I sit at nightly,
With a small dosage of 5% ABV
But the streetlight illuminates my path home
Though I walk through dirt and pastures
To find my bedroll and cedar.
So I ask the questions that need no solving
But need collaborating,
I ask the answers I know,
But believe the cosmos knows too
For in believing in that orbit
I have put faith in my family,
And my family has led me right into discovery
With an open ended question
Resting on the lips of eager grasshoppers.

Chalk (day 1729)

My disgust has carried down into
My stomach, which I can no longer bare.
I have no more faith
No respite to save my state.
My sleep is hopeless –
All dreams forgotten,
My appetite left long ago,
And all that’s left is bitter chalk
Lining the inside of all that’s spoke.

Faith (day 1668)

My faith lies in unopened bottles of wisdom
Set aside for perfect occasions,
Fermenting away like the apple cider vinegar
That cures every single one of my problems.
I make tinctures and rattle them bottles
Until sediment and health
Expels my deathly energy
That filters down through ice cubes
Rattling away.

The Art of Forgetting (day 1035)

Even visitors don’t bring lost songs
As they wipe their muddy shoes
At my open doors.
Like angels losing faith
I roam from here to you.

Along my back door, trails:
Straight out from here,
Switch crossing deeper into the woods.
I catch your disguise
Lost in my naked eyes.

Because I don’t know the answer.
I don’t know why we laugh
At birds feeding hungry.
I don’t know why I hear you
When you think long and
Deep into hollow’s eve
Flickering against the softness.

To catch me is your effort I praise;
Perhaps my missing piece,
My soul’s mate.
But long dropped baskets
Keeps staring at me.

Spells in Rouge (day 1005)

A whisper so hard it broke down my spell
It scared enigma into heaven (or hell)
It washed away dirt with sputtering rains
And bellowed my sorrow into blood diamond eyes

But shivering silently in 2nd hand bespoke
Was a crimson laughter settled in with a smoke
That footsteps sung to all evening long
Fiddlesticks and canyon guns and school yard home runs

Shed not tears into these nostalgic shakes
Be not without faith, my ruby candied cakes
Memories are to guide you forth, a long settled score
Into night’s conquest march with a battling roar (whisper)

Then lifting my eyes to tender so bare
Lightening bolt shine struck with red-velvet boud-air
I shuffled to my flagpole in a partners embrace
And broke spells in a whisper, hardly a trace
