No Words (day 2839)

Did you listen when I spoke no words?
I could hardly lean to take flight
Soar away, hide away
Aloof my trail ablaze.

I woke up from a foggy bliss
Tended to my flock,
Stepped into a day of glass
Dew upon my shoe.

When I carried over my heart,
Sealed with each singing bird’s note,
T’was then I had no words to share
No sound to match such pure delight.

Down (day 2749)

I dove down
Into the garden of Eden
For I wore no skin
To hide my sin
I was no alien
To the depths within
For I had dined here before
I have drunk the wine
And sat up
Late at night
Surrounded by pillows
And dim lights
To enjoy each delight
My faintest inclination
Could bring.

Flew (day 2635)

It is not mine to lead away
Paths which grow apart
For every night a gallery
Painted upon the sky
Sings the chorus
Of each our rambling song
Heavy on the bass
Lightly stepping, light dew
Light our hearts they flew
Light the paths
For each we choose
Like fireflies in delight
And keep our minds
Upon our goals
Lest misty morning’s news.

Honey Bee Stay With Me (day 2451)

Little honey bee stay with me
Stay for tea and summer sun
Lingering here in Autumn day
Sweet harvest to where we roam
Toadstools, apples, tomatillos!
Hungry deer may join our cheer
We’ll find blackberry bushes near
A fruit so treasured by all who eat
Stained fingers with every touch!
Fill our bellies till we are silly
Roll around in thigh high grass
To the forest for a midday flurry
A hunt for salal and its fair berry
Garland for every arranged bouquet
That shall join us later as we sup
On lettuce and radish and beets just up
Found over, beyond the trees,
So stay with me, I’ll let you free
Wander over to the cherry, honey bee
I’ll find you just the right sunflower
To sit by, and enjoy delight.

Much Brighter (day 1018)

The little lover knew no other
But all she had was fits and slobber
The man she loved was much too clever
To hold onto a dying ember
To which begins the sad sad tale
Of the little lover and her
Quest of building ever stronger
Which she blossomed into a Queen
Who loved to laugh and delight in grandeur
And in the end she was much brighter
For being the girl of fits and slobber

Written (day 965)

Letters budge my soul
They dig deep
They remind me of a moon lit sky
Shining down on my half inebriated eyes
A little goblin that wrestles with trees
Dark and settling in
Just holding form until scripts are written

Letters make me remember
Not just my latest flirtations
But memories of my soul’s soul
That existed when plastic didn’t fill
Empty holes mines didn’t dig
Long ago, filtered through memories

So remember
As letters float on by my closed eyelids
As fat cats dodge rat traps
That morph their edges into lost doorways
It’s not just whispers that shift unfiltered frequencies
It’s corpses and serifs, un-written and un-scripted
Un-animated in a midnights grace
That pull my toes tight in a grip of pure delight

Galaxy Spins (day 849)

Join me as we sweep the shores of life
Fill our thoughts with the echoing moonlight
Walking its way along the banks of serenity

Hold my hand as we swim the warm fall water
Echoing through surrounding mountains
Full of heaven on earth, of sweet Gaia
Sparing her nectar amongst our naked bodies

Share with me as I delight in the stars
Dreams forever entangling our horoscopes
Tightly as the galaxy spins us ’round

Surrender as we bolden our destiny
Enriching its gay step with fruitful love
Eternities gates mobile as we proceed
Into bliss known to all as rapture
