Peaceful Protest (day 3195)

It wasn’t long before the crowd decided to gather
It was as if they had somewhere to be
Anxious and outbursts of anger
Flamethrowers from each their eyes.
They sang songs together of hope,
They sang the chorus in colour
The sang songs of hatred and peace
That scared the gathering police
And soon the rain clouds got angry
Torrenting down into the middle
Like bullets from by-standing police
Who swore they had nothing to do
With madness that ensued
For panic was an unending trip
In hearts of guests along the important strip
No longer singing together
With a message that was coherent
They were all babbling and sobbing with fear
And the rain clouds kept on pouring
Signs were all soggy and boring
One by one they were ripped up and thrown
To the ground who took it all in
Who in all of this madness remained calm.

Gates (day 3194)

No longer could the gates be closed
No longer were they present
Abandoned
For when the sky
Turned its evil red
A wind swept in
Opening the holes
Receding each memory
Until desolation took hold
And all was washed
White with time
Which left no one
To collect
Fragments of dust
Standing guard
At the gates
They could no longer close.

So It Came (part XV) (day 3187)

(part XIV)

But there were still people
Who roamed outside of Safety.
They were the sinners
The witches
The vegabonds
The immoral
They were hunted
And killed upon sight
For it was Fearful
To look them in them in the eye.
They existed as people had existed
Long before Fear had set in
To the hearts of the Fearful.
They hunted for food
That ran wild in more quantity
They grew their own food
In the dirt that crawled
With worms and beetles
Maggots and flies.
They made friends with dogs
And sang to birds
But to be sure they were unsafe
For they were outside of Safety.

(part XVI)

So It Came (part XIII) (day 3185)

(part XII)

Inside the walls
Became safer and safer
So that food
Was no longer unsafely natural
It came in small packages
Properly balanced
For full health benefits
And longer life span.
Laws were no longer questioned
For they were made
With safety in mind.
Rules were not broken
For the unsafe were strictly punished
And those
Who had found success
In the early days of Fear
Were those who now ruled
In the days of Safety.

(part XIV)
