Symmetrical Truth (day 2915)

Questions become:
What about truth?

Along with an acre of pasture
There are moments of rain
That twist down the spine
Of Kentucky Bluegrass.

Deserted and alone
The ghosts run sordidly
Through shadows that come at dusk.

Follow the windrows
Carry each bundle lightly
With an eye for each special
Symmetrical glimpse.

Golden (day 2912)

She was everything I had opened
Expecting and recovering
Wild flowers and green seaside
High above I saw her eyes
And the jungle began to swim
Swinging here in a garden night
Low light and pleasant song
Innermost said me to me
Lucky man, lucky day
Lucky sun came up for me
So there I was, it was a dream
Singing with my heart again
Raindrops heard away, outside
Golden in her hair.

My Salt (day 2911)

My salt has worn off by the tongue of your frequent lick
Pressed against my open window
I have cleaned my worn out gloves
Taken my inner barrier
And longed for another song
To take me half way to there
So I could spend my time alone
Preparing for your energy
Like I would a Mountain Lion come to feast.

Wax (day 2909)

I am nothing
For this is changing.
My knowledge has been,
My journey long gone,
Sense of self abandoned
And the lizards
Have begun to infest
Each broken hallow,
Each arching pain
That has dropped
And begun no start
For I am nothing
Like candles run wax.

Overseeing (day 2908)

What laid me here atop this mountain so
: A collection of thoughts
Reared of only my dreams.

What beauty drove me to season’s edge
: Climbed ever higher
To divine what I knew cried.

What left me open
: Observing, witnessing, counting
Driving my layers of skepticism.

Why did I not hold my here heart
Though I knew it was you
Who held such precious space
For there it was
Forgotten with the dust settled in the corner
Yet overseeing neither bond nor collection.

Awoke (day 2907)

You awoke me.
Motionless I stood there
Agape for your heart.
I sank my teeth
Into the sinue of your breath,
Waiting for no signal:
All had been spent.
My Self unfurled
At the gates of your openness.
Your divine tenderness
Whispered sweetly
Into the microphone of my soul,
And the tune
That rested within my heart
Was beating I felt closely
In the beating of your heart.

Precious and Threadbare (day 2906)

Precious is the value of things
Laying down in silk
Folding each crease between your fingers
As the light summer wind blows lazily
On the floral window blinds.
An old tuned radio floats in,
Blending with traffic
That beeps and yells and screeches
Intermittently, unsymetrically
And my smile reaches across
The ancient carpeted room,
Parts threadbare,
Parts so coiled around this scene
That our precious breath
Falls together in romance.
