Gathering green
Poppies grow
Into black-hearted splend
A gift of earth,
So many, a curse,
But each their own desire
And funneling to
Each tip, thy pestle
For gardening deserves
What bloometh brings
Delight upon
Thy very tongue
That choose it
To linger.
