Water Rose (day 2136)

Wading in the water
Cleaning up stars
Quietly signing off again
To begin another rupture
Skyscrapes and neon lights
That lay my hands upon
Gray gates
And a long line of roses.

Burning Star (day 2102)

Lucifer has finally come to me:
Rocketships still burning fuel so fast
Emptiness everywhere is filling up
All around I feel the burning sun
In my mind it is just like a star
To which I feel consumption in my bones
it is wild and threatening here
Dancing madmen with twice bigger guns
Adam’s father and his henchmen all around
My feet can never leave a solid rock.
Lucifer has finally come to me.

Every Star (day 2054)

I used to think about the night
I met you, streetlight
Long walks through midnight frost

And my left arm to my heart
Shooting star

So here’s my reflection in a pool
Dancing with pillows in my eyes
Shade my numbness with all that’s lost
And whisper to me softly
Just as every star.

Three Marks (day 1954)

She rode the waves of mercy
Climbing with every swell
A Venus in every mystery
Searching the world round

She cried with every bit of
Excitement in the air
Like fireworks in her eyes
A flair inside her heart

She amplified the colours
That rose so bright at daybreak
In every exhale of her breath
More mountains rose to shine

She left three marks to show the way
In a maze of lost lagoons
For every star that awoke at night
Was here for her to stay

Dripping (day 1952)

In one breath I could fly
Let anchors drag deep
And mount mountains wildly,
Calling to twinkling stars
In my deepest yearning
To leave all mystery to me
To leave my unnerving heartbeats
Explosions in the sky
As a brocade of waterfalls
Dripping happily from my toes.

My Sweet Game (day 1950)

Remind me of the garden I’ve floated in
Tea you used to share
Your laugh to my sweet game

With history on our steppe
I could mark every book full of stars
And still your voice through halls of love

Let me lose years since it’s been
So much to wish and to share
Let us find two handsome garden chairs

As dead leaves fall Autumn around
My heart pulls home warm cups of tea
And family speaks free in your hair

Innocence (day 1893)

My innocence exists
In tiny bursts of firelight,
Choking on minute details
Of brilliance and twilight
Provided by sparkling stars over head.
But in confusion
I simple stared back
At flashes and smiles
Misunderstanding and
Enjoying the experience
Until I can have one myself.

Fireflies (day 1876)

Wondering how birds sing,
How sun sets
And blue skies ripple
With clouds so sensitive,
Yet so strongly ready
So sturdy
For days ahead.
I wonder how stars come,
How moon lifts its eyes
And birds see night sky.
So my head drifts slowly
And my eyes twinkle
And softly, evening returns
To the land of fireflies.

The Sea (day 1863)

The colors of the sea
Awaken all my heart
A deep blue curl
Magnified
By ten thousand hues of green.
A sea of waving grass
Filled with little flowers
Conifers too old to guess
From their battles with the wind.
As my gaze follows up
To the never ending sky
From blue to white
To darkend clouds
To purple and even gray above,
And then the clouds all go away
As sun makes its journey West,
So here I am amidst the sea
Guessing at my stars.

Cold Breath (day 1858)

Touching from head to toe
A little star twinkled
And in a moment
A cold breath blew over
With morning drawing near.
