Tune (day 2980)

Rainbows caught me smiling a tune
Ruthless and vicious grumbling moon
Habits and rituals that cast spells
Rituals upon my inner walls
Calling out I glean my love
And scrape it down my leg
So there it is, my whisper, my tune
Which I can declare out loud
Standing humbly here.

Why (day 2790)

I ask myself why
Not knowing I’ve never known

Can the silence exist
Though no soul partakes
To let the other side be felt?

Through screens
And irrational blank spots
I rush
To no spell I have listened to.

By my wild eyes
I have come here to exist;
There, too,
Shall running scenes
Invoke my childishness.

Why (day 2763)

I ask myself why
Not knowing I’ve never known

Can the silence exist
Though no soul partakes
To let the other side be felt?

Through screens
And irrational blank spots
I rush
To no spell I have listened to.

By my wild eyes
I have come here to exist;
There, too,
Shall running scenes
Invoke my childishness.

Garden of a Feast (day 2629)

I found you in a golden garden
One stacked high with perennials
One that flowed with vibrancy
– Spring was settling in.

You found me in the old archives
Ink upon paper written long ago
Notably of some used hardware
None found though plenty had been spared.

Through spells we found each other growing
As tomatoes upon the vine
Spring now Summer in swollen pride
Ripened enough for a feast.

Moonlit Spell (day 2563)

I came into the firelight when
The moon hollered my name
Whispered into my ear
Little memories I’d long forgotten
Spoke of a journey through the mist
Of a far off island adventure
A dog for a companion
Who chased away the ghosts.

There were streets of cobblestones
In an old quarter of an ancient town
Where whispers followed me,
I watched ghosts in their wagons go
And sat motionless in firelight
Dancing to and fro
Lost in reverie
Sunken into moonlight’s deepest spell.

Storm (day 1897)

Picture if you will
And together in a spell
From the start it was a myth
And you cried as if unearth
My tonic was the birth
To last unlike death
Gathering wind
Gathering storm
Gathering the eyes
Of ten thousand hungry men
Entrapped, entranced
In a stately march
Will I live alone?
Will I seek a heart?
And to the end
I collapse once again
Longer then our wind
Thicker then our storm
And then all at once
Dropped, it was to end.
