Tea (day 2204)

Make me reel in your sweetest tea
I hear scarlet raindrops
Opening every door so tenderly
Saturate my safely laid plans
With incandescent luminosity
Breaking my lucid dreaming
With delicate fingerprints
Dancing faster then I had imagined
In a gallery of ancient symbols.

Hot Rocket (day 2133)

Call it what it is
On a gold line to Maine
Like a hot rocket lit.

You know where you’re going
It ain’t no cruel plan
Pick up where you left off.

Hold strong to live strong
Believe what you do know
Getting in to it to get lost.

Sell it all away
It had it’s day yesterday
Ran out of what to say.

My red line is feeling fine
Horizon line slipping by
Call it what it is.

Purple Pants are Right (day 2066)

My purple pants have begun to stretch
Into what is now a rich, royal blue
My teeth, they chatter back and forth
But in this wisdom: nothing more
I propose to block these three freedoms
For they each halt my ability to capitalize
On what has always been naturally me
Now I shall usurp liberty
A statue shall fall to build a wall
And my money God, you shall learn to serve
Until too late, for the end is near
Though I shall not call all so dear
This is a game, rags and all
For my warriors shall build as I say
And my plans will overthrow each day
I will make all Right again
I will make all Great again.

Much as Earth (day 1868)

Once there was another time
Where land was free as much as earth
There I had to choose my design
To which I fraught many days
A mind I cannot call my own
Sitting on another block of stone
Then again I’m not alone.
Once there was another time
Where I would walk so free
Hill and creek, valley and stream
Beneath and between my toes
Here and there was my desire
I’d harvest as I pleased
To where my heart would sit upon
A mossy bank of shade
Take the time to digest heat
And settle on a plan.

Lonely Moon (day 1804)

Lonely moon and my heart. Do you ever wonder where to start? So I dip my toes and fix my tie and pretend that my head’s held high because then there’ll be a judging man waiting for a hand to feed a plan and I’m begging with open arms and eyes a gazing for the sweet blossom of my year.

To Come and To Go (day 1785)

With a new passion
I have come to my home
Laid out my plans
I am to come and to go

With a new drive
I have come to my home
Saddled up and ready
To come and to go

With a new heart
I have come to my home
Beating and thrusting
To come and to go

With a new eye
I have come to my home
Eager and willing
To come and to go

A Plan (day 1715)

I’ve crawled along
And pulsed my heart
To look into an eye,
And all I see
All around
Is bliss and zen,
I’m free.
Would you hold
My hand to be
A pedal in the wind?
Or would you seed
My plans into
A life
For you and me?

Plans, Man (day 1712)

Yesterday I was a man
Today I have no sin
A better man,
A bigger name,
Confessed and over spent.
Am I awake?
I’ve pinched myself
I see with my two eyes.
Yet here I sit
Under used
And selling ideas
For a much bigger plan.

Amongst a Cloud (day 1529)

Cannot be a plan, I was left inside,
I was amongst a thousand starving brides.
Cure my memory, cure my soul,
Cure a lovely soul that left me here,
In a sea of generic popular.
I saw my aunty in your eyes,
A creature – I didn’t take a rise,
And when an ancient crowd does shine,
I’ll graft my shoulders to bounce in time.

Whiskey Tracks (day 1457)

A ground has beginnings:
Longing and forgivings;
Mandate in a bottle,
Lost without a harbour.

As blue sky’s winning,
Heart jumps spinning;
Lover and a well laid plan,
Governor’s left this land.

Help the lizard.
Death on a one way street,
Trucks getting really beat,
Dust covering wiskey tracks.
