So It Came (part XIII) (day 3185)

(part XII)

Inside the walls
Became safer and safer
So that food
Was no longer unsafely natural
It came in small packages
Properly balanced
For full health benefits
And longer life span.
Laws were no longer questioned
For they were made
With safety in mind.
Rules were not broken
For the unsafe were strictly punished
And those
Who had found success
In the early days of Fear
Were those who now ruled
In the days of Safety.

(part XIV)

Once Seed (day 2771)

Rage at the antics talking heads play
Forced to surrender, no other way
Lost is ancient, history’s gone
For a game of dollars, enemy’s way
Has taken our diversity
Plants natural genome
Genetically modified, organic no more
Infecting, irreversible turned our seed
Unrecognized, sterile, stale,
Yet to talking heads playing games
A patent awaits the honeybees bum
To take from the farmer lands that his hands
Have nurtured and worked,
Life giving no more.
/end lawsuit

What Makes You Relate? (day 2746)

What makes you relate?
Long standing waiting lines
Clogged with consumers
Looking for sweet redemption
Sold in packaging
Undeniably destroying
Their very fortune.
What makes you relate?
Big superhighways
Circumnavigating
Exhausting into thinning air
Precious cargo.
What makes you relate?
Hand picked produce
With an extra shine
Lacking all imperfections
Of the natural world.
What makes you relate?
Running yet controlled
Exasperated for thy hurry
Speeding in urgency
Crushing in ignorance.
What makes you relate?
Stuck with every freedom
Mentally destroyed
Perceived choice
Lack of ambition
Blaming circumstance
Crippled by fear.

Summer Fun (day 708)

Today’s a new day
Birds on my way
Around in the park
Amidst old fallen bark

I walk for my health
Native American stealth
Dipping and dashing
Jumping and splashing

Warm weather’s blowing
Gone is the snowing
Green shoots are showing
Life begins glowing

Where naked the trees
In cool winter’s breeze
Soon shall be covered
Green nature’s sheltered

Yellow shifts away
Natural aging and decay
Spring change has begun
Anticipate summer fun!

Push (day 649)

An infinite change to alter what’s guttural
A push forth to filter substantial
Harmony to mystically float abysmal
Up, up and away into the supernatural
Be gone, be off, be far away and impartial
Leaving life itself here in actual
Space and time, compounded with natural
Phenomenons, ordinary existential
Places of habitation and practical
Reality that grows into love after all

Rocky Sea Shores (day 477)

Into the ocean I stare away my dreams
Focusing on the repetitive nature of the natural beast
Watching the sparkles come and go
As the waves wash up and beat to and fro
Natural mystics carry dreams afar
Wishes and hopes that float on the wind

Did we walk long enough into the distance yet
Perhaps we can carry on, to find a nice spot

Mermaids walking that keep time with the wind
Hair flowing as the wind whips from all sides
Little rocks to hop on, a little sun bathe on
Happy memories for the young maidens in a foreign land
