Anchor March (day 2167)

Together we swing
On an anchor so wild:
A lesson in bloom,
To travel the world.
And when we wake up
– Upon a mountain so high –
We will carry a flag
As we’ve all learnt so well.
Our hearts are all dolphins
The sea is our goal
What we plant together
Will marry us our home.
Now leaflets and pamphlets
Cause us to effect,
Now chants and marches
Cause us to defect.
But this is our fiddle
And this is our song
Let us be the anchor
And we’ll carry on.

Mother’s Heart (day 1385)

When winter swells have chased away
Fleeting moments of bright sunny days,
A gull shall float along the shore
Reminding her of nature’s cyclic core.

For in blasts of thy deepest torrents,
In rain and wind and sun and clouds,
In darkness and in dull fog thick,
There exists forever a chasing of
Heart to the next heart.

Where one began the next shall start,
Just as the last lingers on,
Even the strongest of hearts, aghast at last!
Behold, a tulip before the first of March!

She comes with her an army of life –
Carrying about to and fro,
That march with purpose through every strife,
Conquering even her very last blow.

Machine Gun Sunrise (day 1315)

Born with a soldier on my back,
A militarically kind of fight.
I marched for justice.
I marched with a heavy heart.
And you step on your way?
You take leave without wisdom,
And miss all these unspoken thoughts.
And if mother In Control
Makes an exit from a foolish heart,
Leave diamonds on the floor;
Take our mirrors down at night.
Truth is not in an insult!
Let’s be born again,
An ocean in the sky!
And nighttime falls
To machine gun sunrise.
