Sock (day 2946)

I’ve lost the faith like my ancient sock
Fallen and gambling
Delayed and betrayed
Tied to the system but still struggling on
Finding a meaning in spite opposition
Trying as if it was on my mind
To be the only one left standing
As if alone on the wall would be perfect
You know the moon never sings
Though she sits still and observes
It’s me who sings here every night
Stretched and waning in a mood yet understood
Worn out for the ransom.

Riverboat (day 2888)

When the winds keep blowing
What does it look like outside your window?
Clashing hearts wrecking
What lonely clouds could share
And a one eyed ghost singing ballads
Heard down at the local bar
That kept on crying
In spite ten thousand broken hearts
Laying open on the dirty floor
So that in one blissful moment
A riverboat will come a gambling
Setting sail for better shores.

Again (day 2545)

My gambling has lost me many bets
My courage lost me blood
My ernestness made me feel great sorrow
My eagerness brought me pain
Restlessly I got real muddy
Tirelessly I became exhausted
Stubbornly I took the long route
Rushing I forgot the plans
And with more heart
Could never a task be done
For I’d do it all again.

Guilty Plea (day 748)

At once there was a gathering of heroes
Soldiers of duty that swore to their master
Guardians of public safety, truth and honor

I, turning round and around
Trapped like a target
Scared like a victim

No it wasn’t a champions bargain alone in the middle
I was the coward; in the game just a pawn
Scrambling for words in desperate desire

In the words of desire I had pulled the trigger
Attempting to alter my position
Captured by the air I inhale, I was gambling

But my hair was not so light
Held up there to scare
I was an example of a rebel to society
