Blinded Worship (day 3132)

Worship at the state of alter
For each breath reconciles
Lost wages at the gates of infirm.
And at dawn,
Ghosts shall bowl their syrup
Onto lawns of placid velvet
That feel unusually comfortable
In the absence of relativity.
Here it shall be
That gates no longer shine
For eyes used to the dark;
The gates have blinded

Moonscape (Slight Return) (day 3127)

This has not lost the love
That faces each dawn
Of pre-existing metamorphisis,
It calms each mind
And inflates the salt
So that each lick tastes
As cunning as an advance should taste.
Each realm of unforseen
Crackles in the evening fire
As weapons of speech
Flicker off the far wall
Of the darkening cavernous region
From whence they have come,
Waiting for the moonscape
To return to the land

Hide and Seek (day 2885)

What did you do
When the mountain found you
Rolling over the field
Like dust in the wind
Gone in pure sin
Said the tree in the copse
For the gorge that uproared
Cleared it’s throat
In a waterfall
And clamered all down to the pond
Jumped up the bank
To hide in a den
Till the moon
Slipped behind the horizon
Then as dawn broke again
The mountain awoke
And spied what seemed him a joke.

Congruency (day 2823)

What brings me into a place of dawn?
– Could lamp shades
Not recollect
Ten thousand words
Once spoken in privacy? –
Early morning stardust
Upon crouching wheatgrass
Shaking its memories
While endlessly searching
Library shelves
For one forgotten phrase
That used to mean a lot;
Congruency.

Fireworks (day 2703)

My thoughts go back towards the dawn
You first appeared to me:
Awoken was I to rambling words
Two girls having quite some fun.
Little fireworks then erupted
– Thoughts of what the day could bring,
Sure enough I was distracted
Just as now I trail away.
You had a headband
Upon your ears
That made me think of a tough mudder
And a friendly friend and dog,
And a dog seat to be cleaner.
You smiled so freely, so effortlessly
So relaxed and free you felt;
The vibe of adventure,
Two friends forever!
One a nurse with a blue sporty car,
The other for pets her heart
Soon one me over, indeed so clever
A patience game of time.
Sure she may not have the shoes
For every single occassion,
But if she has the sandals for
The beach around the corner
Then maybe she will stay with me
And help me tune more fireworks.

Sunrise (day 2688)

When we last spoke, dear
I had my heart out for you
Ragged and drawn
I woke at the dawn
To pull at your time
Like heartstrings I heard
With a rumbling band
Deep in my heart
I kept moving on
With letters of you
With nervous fetters
Pulling me down
Till I lay at bed
Each song I’d wrote
With you on my mind
Nervous and pale
And lost on a boat
My anchor too heavy
To pull up myself
And you on my mind
On an island in time
In love with you
But you have your tune
A subtle implore
With sunrise today
And I’m trying my best.

Moon at Midnight – Part IX (day 1983)

(part VIII)

That first night Amy put an extra serving
Of stew on for me
With the most delicious dumplings I’ve had
This side of the Mississippi
And a most rare treat of cookies
I couldn’t say no to
As we ate, Clarinet’s big eyes
Kept finding me and we’d laugh and giggle
For I wasn’t used to strangers, either!

I did not have any of Frank’s ferments
That he had made himself
And was quite proud of
I had sworn off any alcohol
Since the devil had taken Emma, my sister,
Off with her and a shotgun
But this I didn’t tell ol Frank
Too kind of a man he was.

As dawn broke, I was already awake
I had elected to sleep outside
Beside their fire pit
Keeping a low fire going for most of the night
That affording me some enjoyable heat
And kept the dogs close
I was eager to see more of their spread
Which I think Frank picked up on,
Showed me his garden,
They had two sheep and one goat
The goat they said was a wedding present
From Amy’s parents
And two good looking quarter horses
He was very proud of.

We decided that the best thing I could help them with
Was to help fall two cedars
And buck and chop for the oncoming winter
They were already quite prepared
But I could see that Frank was a smart man
And knew what needed to be done
When somebody was asking what could be done.

At first we used his two-man saw
That must have been two meters long
To cut down the carefully selected trees
You don’t really know the sound of a falling tree
Until you’ve stood on the ground that shakes
When one of those silent giants falls
The two that we picked were about
Sixty cm in diameter
And with Frank’s well kept saws
We had the both of them on their sides
Within half an hour
For the rest of the first two days we made our way
Up and down the trees
First cutting off all the branches
Then bucking everything into
Thirty cm rounds
It took the better part of the next three days
To chop the rounds into
What could then be used in Amy’s warm oven.

part X

Young Bliss (day 1873)

I’m young, you know.
Made of friendly banter
And anger so quick to jump.
I’ve a heavy foot
Along a freeway and open road,
A bypass of the byway.
My roots: growing,
Simple thoughts into
Designs and plans
Sewing a spot to exist in.
So I dance and weave
Hands held high…
Or beside
Because beside is with
And I’m young and in bliss
And coming home
To a fancy freedom
Upon my dawn
I’ll tie my shoes.

Good Morning on the Farm (day 1354)

She stopped to look at me;
Of course I noticed,
It’s what’s come and saved me;
In the garden that we’ve planted,
In the life that we’ve harvested.

So long nights are star-lit,
Wisdom is a campfire,
Pride is found in a solid axe
And love is what reminds me…
Just like a well worn pair of leggings.

You’re there every night!
Roosters wake me at the break of dawn.
I smell well worn leather
And anticipate your footsteps
Coming to say good morning every morning.

Claudious Zemphirian Alehandro Phillithanian (day 687)

It is I, the majestic phoenix who shall rise
Into the dawn of a new land
Glorious in my rebirth and reaching unbounded heights
Heralded by lookouts and prophets
Who have foreseen this same dawn through ages
I shall rise to save the existence
Adorned with praise by all
As I step up to the..

Excuse me?
No, I do not need any tea right now
Thank you though,
You’re very kind
