Let the Hearts (day 3167)

Let the hearts of ten thousand warriors
Fighting for their very food
Fill your glowing heart
And bring you the saintly touch
To heal every broken wound.
Let the hearts of a Spring sparrow
Be the outlook worn upon your sleeve
Bringing your every breath a song
That coos you into peace.
Let the heart of an aging grandpa
Fill your very depths
So that every step you take forth
Is wisdom in every touch
And a smile so deep it resonates
Like the crystal vases on the shelf
That hold a memory so strong
It’s a smile upon your face.

In Faith (day 3028)

And with that instance
I have faith to believe
That you forever astound
Each so liquid crystals
Running my core being free
And a heart
That limits no boundary
Accompanying no symphony
– Though music shrouds all around –
Given the magnitude
And settled
At the base of this rainbow
In full faith
And a tall effort
Emptying this vessel
For yet another day
Towards the space
That has always been right here.

Fever (day 2937)

I work now with a fever;
One single moment with my eyes closed
Produces an entire universe
That flickers before me,
Four seasons ten fold,
And a crystal blue sky
That wakes me with a smile
To tell me that I’m not alone today.
My nimble hands twist,
Grip, Dance,
And tighten around the wet cloth
Attached to my loins
Cooling the pitch
Of which I sing at.

Red Lemonade (day 2444)

You aren’t dragging me down
Though you’re trying real hard
Crystals and Rubies
Lemonade on my soul
Inevitable rhapsody
What’s cruel shan’t grow

This one step facing unequal
We were relying from the start
Expressions contrasting
Fleeting we’ve gone free
Under imagined
This fiery road

If I found it I’d let go
Bloody singing my song
Escapes and hung hinges
Oiling each gear
Red Carbon and Argon
Wide throttle we roll

Softly Cried the Orchid (day 2189)

My shallow scoop has left graceful dents
Upon the eves of my tomorrow;
Pondering a moment here leaves me
Wishing I hadn’t left my tear
So delicately upon your shoulder.

I grew an orchid that cried so softly
When the rhythm of the moon filled
Each crystal chalice with translucent waves
Softly swirling in my hand
Wishing I wasn’t so damn ready.

And as I watched the sun gallop
Over the Eastern horizon from my chair,
I hummed a tune in my favorite key of D
So low it had rumblings of a tumbling dream
Which pressed me between cold sheets for another day to begin.
