I am off
The world awaits
The future is mine!
Bon vogage.
Bag’s been packed
With toothbrush and shoes
Map laid out
Water filled
Tires checked
All feels clean
The weathers nice
Promising more
Passport is ready
We’ll see you soon.

Backwards Memory (day 2872)
I awoke into a dream
That had me backwards memory
Two and two made half is 1
Double meant I’d run
Crossed my fingers
And crossed the bridge
Danced a jig to celebrate
With a bear who spoke my name
While two wise men
Who carried a bag
Came up to me to say
“God, young son,
Will find your way
If you close your eyes and stay.”
So off I went
In the heart of lent
Dancing bear no more
A river bent
My onward path
So I swam into the middle
Where I found my enemy
A rock, so heavy
Floated off the levy
And made it home in time
To dine.
Speak to me Gratitude (day 2727)
I am gone in the order of gratitude
Baked cookies and a overflowing milkshake
Beans for supper but hold the pudding
I’m watching the stars go around again
But Polaris makes me spin around
This collaboration expanding in an exhaust of pain
For a two letter word in a five tree forest
Begun the path, no return
Running silently I empty each bag
Carried for so long, straps begun worn
And something thus calls me, standing I’m alert
Hollering and hollering, Thusurathar
Name me again, gratitude remains.
Love For Me (day 2430)
Love for me I cannot see
Amidst a jungle of tropics
– Canopy my heart burgeons –
Letter from an envelope
Stamped, embossed and sealed secure.
Patron saint tickling me
(Rummage in a broken bag
A morsel once saved: depart)
Planning with another name –
Sunlight reaching out.
Mushroom Picking (day 1554)
I crawled through thick underbrush
To reach a mossy patch,
One which I had felt
Would bring bounty to fill my pack.
As I stared into the beast
I had heavily prepared for,
In front of me I beheld
A patch to make me cry,
A patch that was so full of life
My bags began to shutter
In great anticipating weight!
It was like gold!
It was divine!
It was so heavenly I began to fly!
Bending at my knees
I scooped in fast,
Arm in arm with my comrade’s heart
I dove, neck deep, into mushroom.
Thrill (day 1525)
Opening door
Holy roller
Betting on good times
Hand full of roses.
Opening heart
Small bag of essences
Dripping in gold
Hot bed of desire.
Opening trail
Gorging thrill.
Random my choice,
Hammering noise.
Ashram Day 22 (day 1425)
If you’re homesick,
Let rain wash you home.
If you’re silent,
Let music slowly cry.
If faces never cease to smile,
Let good hearts believe
And deeply caress thee,
And settle your soul
Into a tiny canvas bag
Ensigniated with a rose.
Inside A Bag (day 1006)
I’m stuck in a bag of invisible fabrics
Four to a row in uneven stacking
Massively bulging at the edges and pushing
From inside this bag of invisible fabrics
And if I should get to the top of the bag
Can you imagine what it’d be that I’d find?
Perhaps a wild land of unspeakable magic
Or a desert so sweeping I’d fall back inside.
The company’s not bad inside this bag
It’s rather amicable to be all conjoined
Amongst pears and apples, and mushrooms and goo
It appears the eggs haven’t prospered in here
I’m certain that someday soon I’ll find
I’ve been placed down on some solid ground
And as much as I enjoy this exciting ride
I’ll be off and gone, out of this bag
