Tired (day 560)

I am tired
And these bags gathering
Under my eyes
Are growing their own
Attitude and regret
I’ve been sleeping little
In between dreams
Packing in time
I never could grasp
The days are slipping
On account of my drinking
Which erases the memories
Of days far gone now
Perhaps I could visit
Lost time again
With a flick of my wrist
A twist of my wit
A power to build me
My kingdom here yet
But then, would this cure me?
Would this let me rest?
Surely in madness
I’m loosing my faith
Sleep would be nice
As it touched my brow
Brought me forth
Delivered me with faith
I’d float through the scenes
Blissfully aware
Of the red roses here
Landing down lightly
On a little island of sand
Melting away desires
Melting away all plans
A sweet surrender
A happiness over me
A happiness is me

Commingling Essence (day 559)

Battling egos lay down in passion
Between the satin sheets and pale white skin
One says jump, the other says beg
While barrel rolling, slipping it in

Little angels, they whisper please
They crawl amongst the birds and the bees
Fixing Cupid, with his tips of lust
Onto a landscape where desired lovers unite

Passion then passes from left to the right
A balancing act uniting the gods
Light beams and wind gusts float through the air
An elated lover screams out into the night

Passing by crossroads, the trees lend their shade
Mid winters glow and frosty tipped snow
The lovers engaged do walk down the street
Commingling essence and infusing the night

Transformations (day 558)

Desire cuts the edges of time
Bloating the circles that filter my clique
Enter the ninja, defined and cunning
Who packages the goodies
Into my lunchbox

While want, want, want fills me
I sit back and bleed the freshly killed carcass
Blood oozing onto the cement floor
Draining all that has lived inside
Filling madness into the void

Just think, I tarry a while
Holding the chopsticks at the dinner table
Once, there was a time when
All choices from within
Were unconscious, hopelessly trivial

Loud and Free (day 557)

Uncommon destruction
That brutalizes my soul
Cool liquid drops of sex
Pour through my brain
Featuring madness

Cannibalistic
Lavishly endearing
Blatant and
Devilishly sinful

And I bow
I bow to the lover that stays awake all night
And the devious young man behind closed doors
Sipping down 25 year old stock

I grow from deep within
Boisterously gathering a new level
Stirring up the saints in the courtyard
Slipping into a deceitful dance
Mesmerizing the nymphs

And I dance of faith
Counting on the anger to shout out my soul
Waking up the ghosts in the courtyard
Slowly. With a devilish grin
Anticipation crawls up the back of my neck

Eruption lets the gods know
Loud and free, they hear this call
They hear me curse at the moon
With the cackling birds of pray
That lay with me in lust

Perhaps (day 556)

Perhaps it was the glint in her eyes
Perhaps it was how she asked for a kiss
Perhaps it was when she inhaled deeply
Perhaps it was how she held my hand
Drawing me closer

Perhaps it was her confidence that consumed me
Perhaps it was how she owned the room
Perhaps it was her swagger
Perhaps it was the way her dress glimmered
Exciting my senses

Perhaps it was when she encouraged me
Perhaps it was her freely spoken honesty
Perhaps it was the back seat
Perhaps it was my emergency brake
Straddling the line

Tropical Desire (day 555)

Sunset floods over my reclined body
Memories flutter through my brain
Longing and romancing and warming my soul
Like rum on rocks filling my belly
On this tropical evening date

Desire spreads ’round me in audible sounds
Round and round, swirling deep
People look, people stare
It’s not the sun, no
It’s desire pulsating through and out
It’s eruptions calling out: loud

In this spot warmth never leaves me
Rum never stops filling me
Longing all over me caresses the tropical sun
And puts me into familiar arms of desire
That deliver me to float on

First Star (day 553)

It is like the night, when the first star rises
When I look deep into your eyes
It is like the sound of the first splash of water
As the fun jumps into the lake
The calm all around
With instantaneous sparks of emotion
In a midsummer bliss

~
Naked lovers that lay in each others arms
Watching those first stars speckle the evening sky
The night shift of animals come out
Creeking along the hidden paths
~

Do you want to come over for dinner?
Mom will be making chicken fry
You won’t be able to stay the night
But we can watch a movie in the basement
Nobody will bother us there
I like laying in your arms like that
Do you like it too?

Four Horses (day 552)

Death brings me to you
In unbridled fashion
Ceremoniously garbed
Buttons decked with gold
Sword sharpened
Toes pointy
Hat properly feathered
Death, in it’s fantasy
Bleeding my neck
Into pale luminescence
Creeking along
In shotgun
Erect like a ghost
Proud back
Black stripes cross my chest
And four horses pull
As death bring me to you
